Our mobile and web applications (hereinafter “app” or “application”) allow you to order delivery services from our partners or from our company.

The VamVam application was developed by Ultimate Holding Limited, which is headquartered in Douala, Cameroon.

1. How can you contact us?

2. Who processes your personal data?

Your personal data will be processed by the company providing the service in your country.

Ultimate Holding Limited acts, in accordance with applicable laws, as a “data controller.” The data controller determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

Our applications use a unique authentication tool. Once you have registered, you can use our applications in any country where they are distributed. Your personal data is not transmitted to these applications unless you start using them.

The data you provide us with directly helps the application function properly. Without this data, you would not be able to place an order, make a payment, or use other functions.

The data generated when you interact with the applications, received from the authentication tool you use in the applications provided by members of our group of companies, or received from our marketing agencies is used to pursue a legitimate interest while respecting your rights.

We may ask for your consent to use your data to organize your participation in marketing competitions or other activities.

In all cases, you will be informed of the data collected and the purpose for which it was collected. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

You may refuse to provide such consent, and this will not affect your ability to use our applications.

We use automated data processing for our anti-fraud systems, which automatically detect your activity within the application and block certain features or the ability to place an order. This enables us to promptly protect your account and our financial interests, as well as the financial interests of our partners and third parties, while enforcing a contract between you and us.

If you believe that our systems have made a mistake, please let us know.

We process your data until the purpose for which it was collected has been achieved. We may continue to process your data if such processing is required by law or necessary to protect our rights and interests or the rights and interests of third parties.

The recordings may be used in connection with disputes and legal claims, as well as to monitor the quality of the service provided.

4. Do we share your personal data?

5.How can you assert your rights?

1.Access

You always have access to your personal data. After logging in to the application using our authentication tool, you will have access to your order and delivery history and your identification details. You can update your account in the dedicated area.

2. Rectification

Once you have logged in to the application using our authentication tool, you can correct your personal details in the application. If it is not possible to correct the data from the application, please contact our customer service department.

3.Deletion

Once you have logged in to the application using our authentication tool, you can delete your account.

We may retain certain personal data after you have deleted it from the application, in particular data that must be retained in accordance with the law or to protect our interests, in particular in the context of legal proceedings. The ability to delete data may be restricted by law or provisions relating to freedom of expression and information.

4. Limitation of treatment

You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. For example, if you wish to correct your personal data, you can request via our customer service department that the processing of your data be restricted until such time as the data has been corrected. Please contact our customer service department to do this.

5.Claims

We are always open to your complaints and suggestions. Please send them to our customer service department.

In addition, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if you consider that your rights have been violated.

6. How is this document modified?

We may inform you by any available means (push notifications in the application, SMS or email) if this privacy notice is modified in a way that has a significant impact on your rights.

This would be the case, for example, if we were to add new categories of data to be processed or new purposes for which data is processed. You will be notified before these changes take effect.
